THIS ENVELOPE HAD TO DO WITH PAYMENT of CONFEDERATE PENSiON$ .CONDITION: EXPECT THAT THE ENVELOPE HAS STAINS on the front and back....... AND IT HAS PENCIL WRITING ON IT TOO,small flaws, etc. but, is still in pretty good shape. The envelope was, originally, opened across the right side. The small "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper that is NOT attached to the envelope or receipt. Approximate size is of envelope is 4" X 9". SOLD AS IS.ADDITIONALLY, there is a receipt that came inside the envelope that is from The FiRST NATiONAL BANKof SAiNT JO , TEXA$.At the top, this receipt is dated 3/1/1934 and down below there, it lists Sept 1933 (which is same as postmark on envelope).The top of the receipt has it made out to " Mrs. MARY J.
