The dedication of the Lincoln Memorial Shrine at the public library here was held with many lovers of Lincoln and distinguished guests. The beautiful building, the gift of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Watchorn, former commissioner of immigration at Ellis Island, in memory of their son Emory Watchorn, is the shrine for the bust of Lincoln by George Grey Bernard, which Mr. Watchorn purchased several years ago and since stored until he could find a suitable place for it. The building will house a wonderful collection of Lincoln mementos.Photo measures 8 x 10inches. Photo is dated 2-12-1932.
