The cars were an immediate hit, with the Model 18 quickly outselling its lower-powered counterpart. The cars were also extremely popular with hot rodders due to their relative simplicity and easily improved performance. Today, unmodified and high-quality examples are few and far between and are therefore of more value to collectors. Naturally, some body styles are more readily available than others. The roadster, for example, was only produced in 6,893 examples, so finding one in original, well-maintained form is increasingly rare.
