1930s American Optical Vintage Eyewear Frames 1/10 12K Rimless Gold Fill Frames

Description: Yellow Gold 12K filled with hexagonal lenses with original case. Nose bridge is marked with "AO 1/10 12K G.F. (gold filled)". Temples are marked in the same way. On inside over left lens, wire rims read "AO Rimway Fulvue 44". Black case is lined in dark blue velvet without indication of original optician or business name. Glasses Dimensions: Temple length (screw to outer ear curve): 4.75" (12 cm) Width (screw to screw): 4-3/8" (11.1 cm) Bridge: 5/8” at narrowest, 0.75" at wider bar above nose (1.6 cm / 1.9 cm) Lens: 1-7/8" Wide x 1-5/8" Tall (4.8 cm / 4.1 cm) Condition: Metal frames in excellent used condition. No issues I can see for their use as replacement Rx. Nose pads not discolored or cracked. No temple wraps / covers. Thin temples are straight, but I see some evidence of bends which have been re-straightened. Lenses clear and unscratched. Case in decent condition. Exterior has torn fabric covering on hinge and front rim. Velvet lining in faded, but serviceable condition.Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping.
