This copy is signed by the author, Rachel Field, on the front free end paper. It is in good condition with an intact binding and no stains, scribbles or notation. It does have considerable wear. The outer spine is missing, the covers are faded, rubbed and have edge wear. The paste down on the front cover is toned and partially rubbed away on the left edge. The front and back hinges are fine, not cracked. Pages are slightly yellowed, still bright. One page has a clean closed tear with no missing piece. No dust jacket.
