'The Unholy Three' is a frightening horror novel by Tod Robbins, which tells the story of a trio of circus performers who decide to go on a crime and murder spree. This work was originally published in the United States in 1917, and was made into a silent film in 1925. It was later followed by a sound version in 1930, with the book being reprinted in another form under the title of 'The Three Freaks' in 1933.Tod Robbins (1888-1949) was an American author or horror and mystery novels. He emigrated to the French Riviera and refused to leave when it fell under Nazi occupation. He was subsequently sent to a concentration camp and spent the entirety of the war there. Collated, complete. CONDITION In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally very smart. A bit of edge wear to extremities as well as head and tail of spine. Fading to writing on spine. A few marks to rear boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. A few handling marks, particularly to pages 11-16.
