Description: Vintage 1928 Jewelry Co Black Glass Beaded Magnifying Glass Pendant Necklace and Clip Earrings. This US company was founded in the US in 1968. They mainly made Art Deco, Edwardian and Victorian styled pieces. This is a “married” set which includes a long crystal beaded necklace with a 1928 Jewelry Co. id tag and clip earrings with the swirled, patterned metal backing used by 1928. Unique necklace measures 30 inches long and the chain consists of small black faceted glass beads. It features a unique and decorative stationary pendant that is a magnifying glass. Round pendant is made in gold tone metal with small etched leaves along the outer border and it has an articulated tied rhinestone bow on the top. I am not sure of the magnification power, but it comes in handy and works for me. Closure is a lobster claw. Large earrings have an articulated gold metal frame with navette rhinestones in black and clear. The center has a round smoky gray rhinestone. Very good condition.
