Description: This is a 1928 Vega banjo,19 FRET VEGAPHONE, well marked with the star logo of A.J.FAIRBANK, banjo company. This has the number stamped 93673 inside so that puts it in the 1928 era. This must have been a special order because the tuning pegs that are usually on the back ,are on the sides the easier worm gear set up .The Mahogany neck seems unused it is so minty. The inlay is amazing.The calf skin is tight and in wonderful shape.Super hard to find in this shape and this early.
