Description: 1924 Early Chateau Dresden Schumann Bavaria Reticulated Floral Plate for Hanging 7 1/4" round with an unusual built in hangar on back. Some gold trim is worn, no chips, or crazing, There are hair line marks on the back where the built in hanger is. It does not look like a crack. does not go thru to the dish. see picture. Plate is colorful, floral design with details around plate. See pictures. This is apparently the forerunner of what came to be called Chateau. Notice the abundance of floral decorations on the reticulated rim. Old blue mark used beginning c.1924.This plate was apparently made especially for on the wall for decorative purposes only.
