Impact tore away the supporting pillar at the corner of the block and the head car buried itself in the interior of the building, while a large section of the brick wall, extending clear to the roof, avalanched down upon all three cars. The fall left open the hotel sleeping rooms in the upper floor but none of the guests was hurt. -- Motorman James J. Irwin was unhurt, despite his being carried into the wreckage of the building; but Abraham J. Boisero, Express messenger, was seriously injured, "being buried beneath wreckage" of one of the cars for nearly an hour. -- The train consisted of "Express" cars, containing a mixed cargo, largely of perishable goods. Photo measures 7 x 9 inches. Photo Is dated 1921. PHOTO FRONT PHOTO BACK Historic Images Part Number: nei61686 Sell Smarter with Kyozou.Inventory and Ecommerce Management
