Description: Up for auction is an antique military/firefighter's helmet. Item Details:I had a knowledgeable antique dealer tell me that this is a German/Bavarian military Firefighter's helmet from the 1920's. I myself can not guarantee that the date/description is true beyond a doubt. Condition: Antique/Vintage. There are small dents on several areas (see photos). Corrosion and discoloration of brass is present. The leather liner with chin strap is present but in fair/deteriorated condition.
