Description: I am offering this wonderful old Fry Ovenglass that has patent dates of -5-8-17 and 5-27-19. This is the opalescent round covered casserole dish marked with an embossed # 1938.-9. The lid has a blue color know also of glass. The bowl measures about 9 1/2" in diameter for outer diameter and stands about 3" high. The lid measures about 8 3/4" in diameter and sets on the inner ledge area of the bowl. There are 2 chips along this inner ledge area where the lid would sit and one chip measures about 1/4" wide and the other chip to it's right is about 1/8". They do not hurt the integrity of the bowl and if displayed in a collection will not show once lid is one. Sort of blends into the opalescent color even without the lid. Bowl is clean and nice. Nice old piece of glass. NO returns because of the damage! Buyer pays shipping with insurance included. Will be carefully packaged. Track Page Views WithAuctiva's Counter
