Wonderful documentary view with numbers and makeshift sheet for backdrop. Isaach Uriah Doust (1856-1937) opened his first photo studio in syracuse in 1875 eventually including general photographic supplies as well to his concern. He was active in the Syracuse Camera Club pursuing both the commercial and artistic application of his craft. He was later joined in the business by his sons who seem to have kept the business going at least into the 1950s (possibly longer since there is still a Doust Photography business in Syracuse).
