Description: This 1915 Panama Pacific Expo Half Dollar is a rare and valuable addition to any coin collection. With its stunning satin strike type and commemorative features, this uncirculated coin is a true gem. Minted in San Francisco and .900 silver. Considered rare, only 27,134 pieces were struck. Add this Panama Pacific Expo Half Dollar to your collection today. Created to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal in 1915. The obverse was designed by Charles Barber and the reverse by George Morgan. The obverse features Columbia standing with the golden gate behind her with the setting sun and a child next to her. The reverse features the heraldic eagle and is the first commeroative coin with IN GOD WE TRUST inscribed. It's priced below book value for it's grade and your satisfaction is guaranteed. The lighting difference is the first four pictures are natural daylight and the last two are under incandescent light. This coin is one of my favorites out of my personal collection, I have other commeroative halves listed. Check my other coins listed, I've decided to sell a good portion of 60 years okf collecting.
