All pages are attached. They are edged in gold on 3 sides. The inside fronts have writing "To Harold from Harry, Feb. 15-1921. There are no tears, no dog ears, and no inner handwriting. There are 1253 numbered pages in addition to the plates. It includes a full index. Each volume is 9 inches by 6 1/4 inches. The set totals about 11 pounds in weight.
