Description: RARE 1913 Nevada prestate, owner provided License Plate in repainted condition. According to a postcard found in 2013 from the Carson City News, one could send 25 cents to the newspaper to have this plate manufactured by them to satisfy state registration law. Statewide uniform registrations started in 1916. You had the option to make your own plate from brass,leather, or handpainted on metal as well.
