By Harold Wintle, who also wrote 'The Cleansing of "The Lords"', 'A Mirror of Folly', 'The Waking Hour', and 'The Great Betrayal'. Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library. CONDITION In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with a torn 'Mudie's Select Library' yellow label to the head of the front board. Spine is a little faded. A few small marks to the boards, with a larger mark to the front board. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Torn yellow library label to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only a couple of occasional spots.
