Description: HARDCOVER BOOK OF 736 PAGES. - EXTERIOR COVERS HAVE CORNERS CURLED IN SLIGHTLY, SOME SOILING AND VISIBLE EDGE WEAR ON SPINE, ESPECIALLY WHERE SPINE MEETS REAR BOARD (PHOTO 10). ALL IS STABLE. PAPER BETWEEN FRONT PASTE DOWN AND FRONT END PAPER IS ROUGH WITH SOME SPLITTING BUT REMAINS SECURE AND STABLE (PHOTO 9). I FOUND A COUPLE OF CORNER BENDS (PHOTO 13) AND A SMALL NUMBER OF PAGES WITH FINGER PRINT SOILING MARKS (PHOTO 14). Hinges have small pinholes in front and rear (PHOTO 10 & 11) and there is a small amount of cloth loss on edge of spine where it meets rear board (PHOTO 11). See (PHOTO 4 & 5) for Contents pages OVERALL CONDITION BETWEEN GOOD PLUS AND VERY GOOD MINUS. NO WRITING AND NO TEARS. BINDING APPEARS TIGHT BUT I WOULD NOT LAY THE BOOK OPEN FLAT. Also includes a 1911 dated certificate from the American School of Home Economics. I have seen partial copies available for sale as this book is several books combined, I guess to allow for the certificate. Sections of this book, some of which I have seen sold separately (check the number of pages) under the same title as this book are: 1- Chemistry of the Household by Margaret Dodd2- Principles of Cookery by Anna Barrows3- Household Management by Bertha Terrill4- Home Care for the Sick by Amy Pope Includes management of accounts and "domestics".
