Description: I have for sale a 1911 award medal from the Connecticut State Agricultural Society. The medal is bronze, it is three inches in diameter and in slightly circulated condition. The obverse at the rim reads CONNECTICUT STATE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY - INCORPORATED 1852. In the center it shows a standing women with a sheaf of wheat and plow to her right. She is holding a cornucopia in her left arm and a train can be seen in the background. On the reverse side is has a large wreath at the rim. Inside the wreath it reads AWARDED TO and engraved ALLEN R. OWEN - GOSHEN, N.Y. - SWEEPSTAKES - HOLSTEIN BULL - BERLIN - 1911. Please see more in my EBAY STORE at TE Collectables. (17,916)
