1910's Antique Hanging Light Fixture Large Acorn Glass Shade Handpainted Pansies

Description: This is an spectacular and extremely unusually good condition antique hanging light fixture. It dates from the 1910's (possibly earlier). The chandelier takes a single bulb. The large acorn-shaped glass globe has blue pansies painted on the inside. The shade's exterior has a Grecian revival embossed pattern. The metal fixture itself has an embossed leaf pattern and attaches to the glass shade using 4 screws to tighten around the fitter. I believe the metal canopy is made from brass. This was rewired just before this listing. Confirmed and tested as working. Condition: Excellent antique condition. Rewired and tested. All parts present (canopy, finial, chains). Polychrome paint in extremely condition (I see a few small flecks of paint loss but this is unusually good paint for its age). Canopy shows spots of light corrosion. Dimensions: Total combined length excluding chain is 18". Diameter at widest point is 10". Main glass body is 13" tall without canopy. Fitter has a 6" diameter as measured from outside. Fitter neck (narrowest part) is 5.25" as measured from inside. Chain is 11" long. Central medallion at acorn tip has a 6.25" diameter. Unpacked weight: approx. 5 pounds. Note: I realize shipping may appear somewhat costly on this item, I refund the difference between actual shipping costs and what EBAY's calculator comes up with (if in your favor and significantly different than estimate). If I goof on my shipping estimate, I eat the overage. My experience with these heavy weight & large size items, I almost always end up refunding 30% - 50% of the shipping charge.
