A publication similar to The Illustrated London News, The Sphere was a weekly illustrated newspaper published by The Sphere and Tatler Ltd., Great New St. London EC. Twenty two pages (44 sides) approx. The four digit number in brackets in title is for my ref only. It measures 425 x 305 mm (16.75 x 11.25inches). It retains the outer advertising cover which is loose. The spine is worn. The original outer advertising cover is present, but a little tatty with age and handling marks. Some of the inside pages are loose, and the staples are rusty. There are handling tears to some of the pages. The images vary in size. The images are NOT in colour unless otherwise stated. PLEASE NOTE: I cannot guarantee that the issue is complete 'as published' - but what I have described above IS present. As far as I can tell there are no pages missing, but if you are looking for something in particular in this issue PLEASE ASK. If you require information on size of articles (i.e. number of words), sizes of images, please ask before bidding or buying. The process of the page numbering in The Sphere carry on from the previous issue therefore do not start at number 1. This item will be packaged in a postal tube to be sent RM Small Parcels.
