Description: Book is attractive but in poor condition--binding is coming apart and covers have some wear. Name in ink of previous owner on flyleaf; a dozen or so pages have some vertical lines in ink bracketing particular paragraphs. But--a good reading copy and illustrations by Worcester, Massachusetts artist Walter Appleton Clark are quite nice. Note: I try to identify any flaws in books as much as possible. Sometimes a photo will catch something that I hadn't noticed when making the listing--so it's good practice to look at the photographs as well as to read the listing.
