1900s Vintage White Pioneer Baby Toddler Church Slip Dress Simple Lace Pintuck

Description: Early 1900s Vintage White Pioneer Baby Toddler Church Dress Simple Lace Pintuck This untagged dress is true vintage! It is made from a fine soft delicate cotton with a gauzy look. The mid-length sleeves come to a fixed-width and laced hem at the ends. The hem of the skirt is simplistic and finished with lace, but this well-loved dress has areas of ripped lace needing repair. Finally the higher collar is finished in lace as well. On both the front and back, pintucked detail cascades from the shoulders. The back of the dress does not currently close, and is photographed with a pin holding it closed in place. A seamstress would want to add a couple of buttons or some other closure. This was rescued from an estate along with several other baby girl dresses, and had an old, musty odor to it. It has since been OxiClean soaked, rinsed, hung-dry & steamed before listing. This dress has no size tag! Size is approximated, so please refer to measurements before purchasing. Measurements were taken while dress was laid flat: Armpit to Armpit: 12" Shoulder to hem of skirt: 20" Imperfections as follows: >> Hem of skirt's lace is ripped in one area - See photos #1, #2, #5 & #12 for detail. >> No button closures exist on dress, will need to be added >> Snag/hole at bottom of button closure area. See photos #8 & #10 for detail. >> Substantial tear down the linen of the right sleeve, and hole in armpit of right sleeve. See photos #9 & #14. >> Thin fabric/worn down spots/pinholes on left sleeve. See photo #11. >> Overall this dress is delicate and VINTAGE so with any level of normal use the dress could begin to see further damage. Comes from non-smoking home.
