A publication similar to The Illustrated London News, The Sphere was a weekly illustrated newspaper published by The Sphere and Tatler Ltd., Great New St. London EC. Eighteen pages (36 sides). It measures 410 x 290 mm (16 x 11.25inches). A few pages are loose and there are binding witness marks to the spine where once bound. It is in a clean condition. There is no outer advertising cover. There is a small tear to the border at the bottom of several of the pages. Some of the pages have cuts tears and blemishes due to their great age - anything more than minor will be mentioned in the main body of the description. The images vary in size. The images are NOT in colour unless otherwise stated. PLEASE NOTE: I cannot guarantee that the issue is complete 'as published' - but what I have described above IS present. As far as I can tell there is one page missing, so if you are looking for something in particular in this issue PLEASE ASK.
