Description: 18th Century Neapolitan Creche Presepe Figure. Up for sale is a very rare 18th century Presepe Figure. It is a figure of a King. The extremities are made with polychromed wood and the body is held together with hemp and tow. The overall condition is acceptable for age. Limbs with cracking due to humidity change over time. Some fingers missing. Extremities posable and sturdy. These figures don’t often come up for sale of this quality, let alone coming for sale at all. In the following weeks I will be selling around 15 of them. If you have any questions let me know. Sold as is.
