The watch does have a serial number and what may be a builder's ID number. Buy it and ask the Swiss authorities! It features a rotating slide to activate the time chimes and has been certified by "Antiques in Time" of Medford, Oregon as in working order. Two inches in diameter, it weighs 86 grams with 2 back covers. Functioning minute repeaters are rare. It has been used, so scratches and the hour hand may be missing a section.
