There is advertising on the back of both boards, and then a few pages in after the front board and a few pages before the back board. Specifically, the advertising in front includes 9 pages before the title page (including behind the front board), and then 5 pages after the title page. The pagination is then interesting. The first part of the "Directory" are sections on "National Codes of Ethics", "Physicians' Fee Bill", "Maryland medical Law", and "Virginia Dental Laws". The pagination of the book starts at page 101 and these three introductory sections go from page 101 to 126.
