I do not use stock photos or photos of other people's items, unless otherwise indicated.This is a lot of/family of four heavy industrial design napkin rings each brite cut with a poppy flower and a butterfly. They are additionaly engraved Mother, Father, Walter and "Loulie". I am going to go out on a limb and guess Walter and Loulie were Walter Smith Thomson and Loulie Randolph Gordon, married April 12, 1898. Walter's parents (Mother and Father) would have been Rebecca George and (Dr.) William Thomson of Philadelphia. Walter and Loulie Thomson are listed in the 1940 census living in Radnor Township, Delaware County Pennsylvania with a Cook, Nurse, Servant and Maid (no children). (They had two daughters, Rebecca and Loulie, born 1900 and 1906, died 1943 and 1976 respectively without husbands or issue.) The rings have no maker's marks and appear to be silverplated. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. If Free Shipping is offered it will be by the cheapest method possible, for books that will be Media Mail.
