Description: Original 1890 copy "Stanley's Emin Pasha Expedition." The book is overall in good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers only have some minor wear. There is a small section of minor cracking to the front interior hinge, but the binding is good and sound. There is an old name stamp and the date "March 1898" written in fountain pen to the front fep. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly nice and clean with just some occasional light foxing and grubbiness. Along with that there may be the occasional page with kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book measures approximately 7 3/4 inches by 5 1/4 inches and is 369 pages long. It is illustrated with some black and white plates and a folding map at the rear. The map has some ratty edges and some small chips and tears. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
