Compiled by Chapman Bros of Chicago Illinois. Contains 1307 pages with many illustrations and a wealth of early history & biographies of the early settlers of both counties. Many fine artist's drawings show buildings and the property and farm scenes of these families. Front has the US Presidents and Nebraska Governors biographies. Bound in full brown leather with gold titles & decoration. Book is in good sound condition with only minor wear and excellent binding and strong hinges that were repaired. All endpapers are original and intact. Pages all have gold gilded edges and there are only a couple pages repaired. Book measures about 9" X 11" X 4" inches. A hard to find book would make a fine addition to any collection. No disappointments.
