The book is in good condition for age. The cover has fading, wear at edges, and spine sunning. The joints are intact. The front inner hinge is cracked and holding well. The back inner hinge is intact. The binding is tight. The pages show age yellowing. There is a corner tear to the front free page and tears to the rear free page, as shown. There is a washed ink stain on facing preface pages xii and xiii as shown. Otherwise, the pages are in good condition with no dog-ears. The binding is tight. There is no internal writing in the book.
