One such player, Danny Mahoney, is pictured on this N172 card that features the catcher as a member of the St. Joseph Clay Eaters of the Western Association. Mahoney had two brief MLB appearances in the 1890s, but by 1897, he had passed away at 40. Graded SGC VG-EX 4. A excellent example that still holds up very well.
