Description: 1885 Morgan dollar, authenticated / graded / encapsulated by PCGS as MS-63. This coin is evidently one of the never-circulated stockpiles, kept in banks or the U.S. Treasury vaults until released for collecting. It has enough and a few deep bag marks to make its grade appropriate, but it is also a good Choice "UNC" with its strong strike, pinwheel and clearly semi-prooflike lustre, the latter designation it must have just missed. Its golden toning is on its obverse rim denticles and mostly between 3 and 4 o'clock on the reverse. As it is, this coin is exemplary for its level, and would definitely complete a "slab" collection of type or year type, or anything with Morgans in it!
