Description: For sale is a United States Liberty Nickel dated 1883. This is the "No Cents" variety of the first year of the Liberty Nickel. The mint added the word "Cents" after people started gold plating them and passing them off as $5.00 gold pieces. The coin grades Very Fine in my opinion. Please note that I use the guidelines in Photograde as well as my years of experience as a coin dealer in grading the coins I sell. However, it is best that you make your own determination of grade/condition based on the photos. This is one of a number of coins being liquidated from a jewelry/coin store we had for over 37 years. This coin ships first class mail with tracking but without the cardboard flip in the photo (so the envelope doesn't get torn apart in the USPS sorting machinery). It's shipped in a zip-lock bag taped to the invoice in the envelope. *We combine shipping on multiple listings as long as they're paid for around the same time. Items purchased and paid for at different times will ship separately. Note: if you purchase more than one item eBay will force you to pay for shipping on each. We will refund excess s/h. We accept returns within 30 days as long as the item has not been altered in any way. We leave positive feedback upon payment and would appreciate the same as long as you're happy with your purchase. Please contact us with any questions. Thank you for looking!
