Condition: GoodThe hardback cover is in excellent condition. The binding is tight. It has old yellow tape on the binding in 2 spots that held the binding together before it was rebound. It was rebound with the original marbled front fly page but does not have the original back marbled fly page. Most of the pages are in very good condition but her are a few notable flaws.*The title page, preface, and first contents page all have a 1/4" tear. Page vi and vii of the contents page have light chipping to the edges. Page 182 has an old, yellowed piece of tape, 1" in length at the bottom of the page in the margin. Page 361 is shorter than the rest of the pages, it looks like it was cut short when it was originally bound, this does not affect the print, it just has smaller margins. Page 361 also has a 1/2" tear and a 1/2" chip out of the margin of the page. Page 373/374 was chipped and worn on the edge, it has very old, yellowed tape covering it to protect it (see picture). A few of the pages have one or two very small "x" marks written in pencil on the margin.
