Cram, undated but c.mid-1880s Printed color map folding into blue stiff paper wrappers with printed title “Cram’s Township & Railroad Map of Michigan” and 48-page index containing information about county seats, post offices, money order post offices, telegraph stations, railroads and more. The map shows political boundaries, cities and towns, roads, railway lines, rivers, and lakes. County boundaries are outlined in yellow; state boundaries in red; with railroads shown in black. Scarce format issued for use with the traveler in mind. Wrap size: 5 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches. Map size: 22 x 16 inches (neatlines) on sheet 23 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches. Condition: Light wear, mostly at the corners. The map has a few toning spots and some discoloration where glued to the wrappers. Several tiny breaks at fold intersections and tears have been repaired on back using neutral pH archival tissue tape.
