Description: 1879-O $1 PCGS MS63DMPL. This early New Orleans mint Morgan dollar displays deeply mirrored fields, with boldly contrasting frosted design elements. Mostly white with light gold peripheral toning, and a razor sharp strike. The cheek is exceptionally clean and unabraded for the grade. We don’t think it’s a stretch to consider this coin truly PQ for a 63DMPL. An excellent candidate for a high quality DMPL Morgan dollar set.
