Description: Combination Atlas Map of Clinton County Compiled, drawn, and published by Kingman Brothers "Combination Atlas Map of Clinton County," compiled, drawn, and published from personal examination and surveys by by Kingman Brothers in 1878, 14.5" x 17.5" hardcover (brown cloth on boards with gilt lettering, leather spine and corners), 105 pages. Aside from the maps, the book is profusely illustrated with many drawings of people, farms, civic structures, stores, etc. Both covers are detached and have been crudely reattached with clear packing tape on the inside hinges and wrapped around the spine. Contents are in very good condition: Scattered spots and stains, some smudging in the margins, scattered lesser defects (creases, crimps, short edge-tears, and the like), text block tight, two-page map of the United States detached and laid in, front free endpaper missing.
