This coin has a rounded eagle breast making it the reverse that was used for the 1879 coins. Nice Color and Super Eye Appeal. Has a hint of toning and a little dirt on the surface. Nice Luster. Bold Date, Nice Hair Detail. Nice Eagle Feather Details. No detracting rim dings or other marks often found on these coins. I'll say it doesn't have a ton of contact marks, but the luster is not quite as strong as I typically see for 1878 dollars because the toning/dirt hides the luster a bit. It's common for dollars sold as BU to really be high end AU coins. This is a true BU coin, and a nice quality one. Please bid with confidence because I stand behind what I sell.
