This 1874 Type III Indian Wars-Spanish American War canteen cover comes appropriately unmarked on color matched, correct weight and weave cotton canvas. This cover represents the final “full variant” of the modified 1858 stock canteens and is commonly associated with volunteer and militia units during the Spanish American War. The set includes one duck canvas, full exterior cover and one full woolen interior cover of Family Heirloom Weavers flannel or Jean wool. This cover is ideal for the 1858-78 style oblate canteen and is cut to the correct dimensions. Finished canteen is showed for reference ONLY…you will need to cover your own canteen with the items included.
