Description: Original 1873-1874 bound volume of Harper's New Monthly Magazine. The book is overall in good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. There are some decent sized chips out of the top corner of the first 3 leaves which affects the illustrations and titling in the top margin, but not the actual body of text. The covers have some mild wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is toned from age with some scattered foxing, minor staining & grubbiness. Along with that there is likely the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as another small chip or tear, creased page corner, minor marking, etc. The book measures approximately 10 inches by 6 1/2 inches with several black and white illustrations. It contains the issues from December 1873-May 1874. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
