Description: I have for sale this 1852 French Napoleon III solid brass helmet that I restored with the Imperial Napoleonic Eagle. It had some issues with bumps, cuts and dents in the metal and is why it is so cheap, but all of the brass is still 100% original to the helmet. As the brass/scale leather chin strap is 171 years old, it is a little brittle with one loose tiny chin strap plate on the right and part of the leather coming loose on the let one, but it still all fits together and looks awesome as you see here.
