Description: This is a scarce early pontiled apothecary Muriatic Acid poison bottle from the 1840s or 1850s....it has the word Muriatic in wheel cut tiny letters on front of bottle....Hand blown with no mold seams...rough pontil scar on bottom...thin flared lip with 8 polished flat sides so that the bottle could be easily identified even in the dark.....original ground glass stopper has cut polished sides....clear flint glass bottle...3 1/2"tall (4 3/8"with stopper).....Excellent condition with no chips or damage. Some light inside content haze. This was a Muriatic Acid poison bottle over 160 years old....a very scarce bottle!....
