Description: I am selling an 1840-O seated liberty half dime. This is the rare "with drapery" variety of which only 240,000 were made. The date is clear, all of the stars can be seen, Liberty's body is broadly outlined, and a couple drapery lines show. Most of the lettering can be read on the reverse and the wreath still has some texture. The reeding on the edge of the coin is still faintly visible around most of it. The coin is a darker charcoal color on the front and does have a couple small impact marks, including one through the mintmark, however part of the mintmark does remain visible. Still, a great addition to any half dime or type coin collection! Please use the pictures to determine the grade and feel free to ask any questions that you have.
