Description: Some coins labeled as "cleaned" really don't appear to be so. This 1836 Half Dime, I attribute as LM-7, a bit scarcer R-4 variety. The surfaces (to me) appear pretty much original. At least they are that gray silver color that most early half dimes show. I do not see any problems. I didn't want to bother cracking it out and trying again. Once is enough. The grading service has enough of my money already. Thanks for bidding. By the way, this is a nice Extra Fine Grade. Postage for shipping and tracking is $3.95. I can combine other lots in one package and the total postage for all lots will be $4.25. (Only two slabs can fit in my mailer), loose individual lots can fit into the mailer without a problem.
