Description: "Miss" Anna Maria Porter was born in England and was first published at the age of 12 and went on to publish over 30 works. Her sister Jane was also a prolific author. This novel, "Don Sebastian Or The House of Braganza An Historical Romance Four Volumes in Two( this edition includes Vol. 1 and 2) was actually first published in 1809. this copy was published by J. and B. Williams in Exeter in England in1835. This is a good copy with a tight binding, though it is cracked at the covers and the text block. the red covering of the spine is loose. There are some doodles and chalk marks in the text, and it is inscribed by an owner in pencil. There is chipping to the edges of the covers and corner wear. Staining on blank pages at beginning and end. Light Foxing Seemingly rare as I had trouble finding another copy. Small Book, 3" x 5" 223 Pages. Free shipping by Media Mail.
