The Quarterly Review was a literary and political periodical founded in March 1809[1] by the well known London publishing house John Murray. It ceased publication in 1967 CONDITION In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, worn, with splitting to spines, and some loss as expected with the fragile orginal paper wraps. The wraps have sunning, scattered foxing, and some marks. Two wraps missing, five detached, and several held by the cords only. Internally, loose and strained in places, with a small number of pages detached but present. The first few gatherings of Volume 115 have detached from the textblock. Bright, with occasional foxing and dusting prominent to outer margins. Two pages of a catalogue have been removed from the rear of Volume 130. Copperplate ink signatures to one of the front wraps 'D Lewis Esq'.
