The Fourth Edition printed for Longman, Hurst, Rees, and Orme; Cadell and Davies, London; Tupman and Son, Nottingham, in 1808. Agistment is the keeping or depasturing of Sheep; and of any kind of Cattle, whether Beasts of Horses, and the Tithe of Agistment is the Tenth part of the Value of the keeping or depasturing of such Sheep, Beasts, and Horses, are are liable to pay it. Having had a hearing at Court with his claims settled in his favour the author explains all aspects of the Agistment tithe in the hope of providing information for others. Hardboards covered with blue paper. Heavy wear to the boards with the paper torn and missing in places. Cream title label with black lettering with most of the spine missing. Light foxing and browning to pages.
