Description: This 1807 Capped Bust Half Dollar is the O-114 Large Stars Variety for this date, it grades Choice EF+. This is a pretty coin with nice eye appeal. It is an Album Rim Toned coin with some nice Rainbow Tones right on the rims from a long stay in an album. The centers are very lightly golden toned. The surfaces are nice, there are no heavy marks or hits, just some tiny ticks and light chatter. Nice traces of luster shows in the lettering, stars, and more protected areas. This is the first year of issue for Capped Bust Halves and this is a tough variety to locate, especially so this nice and with this kind of eye appeal. Just a very desirable coin!
