Description: Heirloom Slip from the family of Debra Palmer Baker: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/fort-wayne-in/deborah-baker-11031920 She kept little notes pinned to all that she inherited from family. This note said the slip was 62 years old in 1973 which makes it 113 years old. The garment was made in 1911 either on a manual treadmill type sewing machine or electric was actually widespread at this point. I included a historical synopsis in the pictures. The garment has sewing imperfections and damage from rust and light worn spot as shown in the pictures. Debra's hand note included.
